Home Health Aide (HHA)

About the Role

Asheville Home Health is looking for warm, dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide in-home support and companionship to elderly and disabled clients in their homes. No certification is required — just a caring heart and a reliable attitude. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life every day.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support to clients
• Light housekeeping (dusting, vacuuming, laundry, kitchen tidying)
• Meal planning and preparation
• Grocery shopping and running errands
• Accompanying clients to doctor's appointments and outings
• Assisting with basic mobility and safety in the home
• Reporting changes in client condition or needs to Asheville Home Health

Qualifications

• No medical certification required
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Good communication skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
